Restoring White Leather Trainers

£195
Back to Images

White trainers are the staple that carries you from season to season. Our leather and colour restoration will ensure they are looking their best.

This service covers cleaning the interior and exterior, restoring the external white leather areas and replacing the laces. If your shoes have coloured, metallic or exotic areas that need restoration, this will be quoted at an extra cost.

Dependencies and Risks

Metallic or exotic areas? If you’d like other leather areas to be restored, this will be quoted at an extra cost.

Worn insoles? If you’d like the interior or insoles to be restored as well, this will be quoted at an extra cost.

Dirty laces? We replace dirty laces and thread them in the same pattern as the original. We return the original laces to you.

The Process

We begin the restoration process by cleaning your trainers. Our cleaning and care artisans clean the whole shoe internally and externally with a mild detergent specific to the material.

With clean shoes, our restoration artisans identify a part of the shoe where the colour is as close to the original as possible – this is generally on the inside or under the tongue. We use this area as a reference to hand mix and match pigment that will be used to restore your shoes. We use specialist leather filler to repair scuffs, tears or scrapes. Then, pigment is applied in thin layers evenly across the shoe.

Finally, a protective coating is applied to prevent colour loss and ensure the adhesion of the pigment to the leather. The finish is adjusted to match the shine of the original item.
